The goal is to prepare new champions using advanced infrastructure, including the world's largest artificial wave park in Abu Dhabi. The federation is also preparing its team for the Asian Beach Games and launched a program to discover young talent.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation, stated that surfing is a significant and new addition to the federation's umbrella, with great ambitions to prepare generations of champions. He mentioned that there are few amateur athletes in this sport, and the federation is keen to apply best practices to promote it widely in the coming period through incentive programs and various events to discover talents. Sheikh Ahmed highlighted that the sport has received substantial support with the establishment of 'Surf Abu Dhabi' on Al Maryah Island, the world's largest artificial wave facility, to establish champions from the UAE for future tournaments. He noted that the nation's athletes have proven their worth by winning medals in regional, continental, and international competitions, confirming the strong foundation for promising elements in the federation. Sheikh Ahmed also mentioned that the 'Elka 4' team is completing its preparations in Morocco for the upcoming 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China, from April 19 to 30, aiming to compete for top positions and raise the UAE flag at this major continental event. He emphasized the federation's commitment to discovering talents in clubs and schools through advanced programs to introduce marine sports and assess athletes' potential and preferences in suitable disciplines like sailing and rowing, contributing to the country's proud results. Regarding the 'Champion's Sports Path' program launched by the UAE Committee for Talent Care and National Sports Support, Sheikh Ahmed stated it has successfully supported promising athletes across the emirates, enabling them to reach top competitive performance levels through a comprehensive support system, qualifying them for elite and global professional stages. He stressed that the program represents significant support for federations aiming to create champions capable of international competition, backed by the wise leadership, the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and sports councils. Sheikh Ahmed added that with the leadership's support, the UAE provides the best conditions for sports practice in a safe and motivating environment at all times and under all circumstances.
